You guys remember when I was all excited about having hit $3,000 on the Kickstarter? Well, I’ve been remiss in not posting on the blog these past weeks, so things have gotten a little out of control.
The campaign closes in 24 hours, right before I receive my diploma and graduate from college. Currently, the figures stand as follows:
– $11,000 in pledges
– 300 backers
– 730% funded
I’m kind of speechless at the moment, but I hope you can glean some sense of my mood from the following sequence of images:
Thank you all for chipping in and making this such an extraordinary experience. I’ll be sure to post something a little more eloquent after things settle down next week, but for now I am full of gratitude and sunshine. Keep being your amazing selves.
Congrats…and I also just backed! My boyfriend is, since shortly, fascinated by kickstarter projects and he discovered your project and thought I was interested. I really like the subject, since it also speaks to me as a starting illustrator and I’m really looking forward to read it.
Also, he was wondering what your (physcial 😉 ) age is 😛 in other words, how old are you? Not that it really matters, I guess he’s just curious.
Hey Petra! Thank you so much for supporting the Kickstarter with your enthusiasm and your pledge. Both mean a great deal to me. To answer your boyfriend’s curiosity, I’m 22. My non-physical age is far harder to determine, so I’m glad you added the clarification.
I also took a look at your site and I love the atmosphere in your illustrations. Lovely use of color and shapes, too. Keep at it!
All the best,
L
Congrats on the laurels!
